IDF reveals new advanced night-vision equipment

The IDF has revealed a new nitrogen-based night vision system. The system provides troops with a high quality nighttime picture of the battleground, and enables them to mark targets accurately. Such a system can provide the IDF with a qualitative edge in future confrontations on the Palestinian and Lebanese front.

This looks like more of a thermal imaging system… Maybe they figured out a functional way to conjoin the two traditional systems…. Standard Night vision with thermal imaging?
