GRRRR. where can i find the cheapest thermal night vision viewer?

Please before you start sending me all those wonderfull night vision sites please make sure you know the difference between nvg’s and thermal‘s. I need thermal! I don’t mean to be rude. It’s just that those yahoo points are like crack to some people so they try to answer questions they know nothing about. So please don’t waste your time or mine if you don’t know what thermal imaging is. Thank you.

Thermal ain’t cheep, or generally compact. All thermal units I have used were either part of the vehicle and or weapon system or required a large and noisy power/ cooling source although I heard the noisy cooling portion could be replaced with bottled nitrogen. That’s why they are not allover the web.Even the hand held sets fire departments use have limited use.
try google, though i don’t think you are gonna get one cheap anywhere
Try the flea market in Berlin or even Moscow.
Maybe you need to do it yourself, people are only tring to help, but if you dont want people to at least try to help then get on your computer and do a search, or use your telephone book.
